Hit and Run Drift Club are a group of guys who call Sydney Australia home. This isn’t any ordinary club let alone drift club, They leave behind the haters and focus on Good times, Good friends and most of all Awesome cars!
At Wakefield Park about a 2 hour’s or so drive out of Sydney’s CBD lays a nice little race track in which Hit and Run DC decides to run the drift day.
Some lucky friends of the club manage to score them self an invite to a track day that is full of a relaxed atmosphere many good times not to mention Lots and Lots of drifting!
The event was held on a Thursday so whilst many people were slaving away at work these guys were taring up tires and having fun. None other REAPER a car that has quite a name for its self with a ball busting L98 6.0L is just one of many of the crazy cars the crew has to its name.
Bwaz has a Fresh as hell wide body s13 sitting on some polished SSR’s, This car has plenty of style keeping it true to the s-chassis running a SR20
In case you haven’t realized already the boys from Hit and Run don’t bother running with out style! its not about being the most competitive or best it’s all about a group or friends coming together for there love of drifting. Jack is a man who definitely “chills the most” with his slammed 180 and his sr20 being held on gate day in and day out doing it for the love of it.
Some of the the W3 Slide crew also headed down like Cam in his S13, friends of the boys running at local tracks around Sydney. Camo decided he’d slam his already low car just that bit more just to run with the guys from HnR
Jwazz and his purple caged wide body 180 is one cool car! every wear you look it oozes style and screams Hit and Run.
The morning started out fresh but from the time we got up from the cabins just next door to the track the sun was out and quickly warmed up.
Biggie runs his FU180 and runs it hard! these boys aren’t scared to use there cars and there style doesn’t make them hold back.
Drifting isn’t the all or nothing for this club, it may be what brings them all together but that doesn’t stop them from partying hard and having fun.
The 4age Ke70 still lives and its heart beat’s strong! This wickedly Styled Ke70 may be a little under powered being a naturally aspirated but it didn’t stop Tyler from throwing it in hard keeping the little rolla sideways.
The man WOODS! this guy has had some hard luck in the past with his s13 but finally made it out on track baking the tires off his Enkei RPF01, maybe a little too much when he went to extent of losing a wheel to show the guys just how low he can roll.
Unfortunately not all of the Hit and Run DC could make it out to the day so they were quickly snapped up by other Sydney drifters. Brad made full use of his 1jz powered Silvia and the lots of track time every one got.
Jwazz had some issues later in the day which saw him not get to have a full day out on track. Him and many of the other boys have traveled interstate several time’s especially down to Melbourne in search of good drift events.
For me days don’t really get any better. Escaping the daily grind and getting to snap some of the worlds best and stylish drift cars on a open track is something i have always wanted and loved to do.
Not a cloud in the sky, OK maybe a few small ones but the day seemed to be pretty much perfect. You wont find any big Ego’s with the boys at HnR they are always up for a laugh.
Joey in his mega cool r32 4 door running a very yummy rb24! This car is Street meets Style and has lots of Japanese flavor.
Tipper runs a miss matched Rx-7 which will apparently in the future will be pushing as hard on style as he does drive!
The perfect day had some cloud’s thrown over it towards the end of the day but it didn’t stop any one having fun! with late showers predicted they soon rolled in.
It certainly didn’t stop Bwazz from staying out on track and throwing in lots of angle. Words cant describe how much fun this day was and just how cool it was. This image was taken roughly 2.5m away from the ripple strip the s13 is about to clip standing out in the rain. It’s one of the best feelings and bring it backs to its roots with most rules left behind.
Wearnz also stayed out on track choosing to use what little tread he had on his Work Eurolines
That didn’t stop him from tearing his tread up earlier into the day and always pushing hard!
Just some stickers for you kids playing along at home, maybe some life motto’s?
Biggie also loves his stickers with his nice little rear quarter window slowly getting filled.
The Scott Mitchel also made the trip down with rest of the boys and even managed to do a little bit of filming.
Its so wear we all start normally with a under powered car and build it up over time but you always have mega respect for the people doing it and doing it well!
Then you have cars like Cam’s that has a built SR and a just as built chassis, Cam was throwing down some mega runs all day so much so he ran out of tires!
No matter if the Hit and Run boys are out on track or just parked up they always grab your attention. I guess that’s whats so popular about this club not one of the cars lacks style!
As they day was all about fun i had to have some more myself! Brett the owner of REAPER was kind enough to take me for a ride and it was one car i have always wanted to be in. Getting strapped into a standard passenger seat and standard seat belt i was certainly thrown around with some massive high speed entries.

A end to one of the coolest experiences Ive had behind the lens of a camera. Spending it with some awesome people, having open accesses to a race track and some of the worlds Coolest cars! Hopefully i get an invite back to future events as i cant thank all the guys enough for letting me share Hit and Run!
